The singer-actress, who shouted at reporters for blocking her mother's way,
also broke down several times at a meeting with her fans on Friday.
About 700 fans attended the session which also drew crowds of reporters.
Cheung was all smiles when she appeared on stage.
She continued smiling even when she was accidentally hit on her head by
reporters who rushed onto the stage to take her photograph.
However, she eventually lost control of her emotions when her fans started
queueing up for her autograph, crying for nearly half a minute before she
finally stopped, reported the Ming Pao Daily News.
Reporters asked her if she was feeling sad about her strained relations with
Tse but she denied it and insisted that she was moved to tears by the
support from her fans.

However, according to the Chinese-language Apple Daily, Cheung's mother said
her daughter had been feeling rather depressed of late due to her break-up
with her former boyfriend.
When reporters asked her mother if she felt angry with Tse, she kept silent.
Halfway through the autograph session on Friday, the singer's mother, who
was in the queue posing as a fan, walked onto the stage to get her
autograph.
She also asked to have a photograph taken with her daughter.
Touched by her mother's support, Cheung broke down again.
However, her mother soon found herself surrounded by reporters and could not
leave the stage.
At that point, the singer lost her temper and began shouting at reporters
over the microphone, telling them to give way to her mother.
An angry Cheung also refused to continue signing autographs.
She resumed the session only after her mother left.
When she had finished signing autographs, Cheung apologised to reporters and
explained that she had lost her cool because she was worried about her
mother's safety.
She was seen crying again as she left the stage.
